G-DRAGON, BIGBANG and Paris Fashion Week: What the September Timeline Actually Shows

G-DRAGON did have a documented Paris reason in September: Dispatch photographed his September 18 departure from Incheon and reported that he was travelling for BIGBANG's tour. Stade de France's own listing confirms the group's September 19 concert and names G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG. That is a substantial Paris appearance in its own right, shortly before the September 28 opening of womenswear Fashion Week.

A separate September 15 Japanese-language report described a Paris restaurant's social post showing G-DRAGON. We treat that as a dated, attributed sighting claim, not evidence that the artist remained in the city for every later fashion event. The report and the September 18 departure story are separate source snapshots; they should not be stitched into an invented continuous itinerary. Concert dates, travel reports and runway guest lists answer different questions.

Why does the distinction matter? Fashion-week search results often pair a star's name with a major house because an earlier collaboration or photograph is familiar to fans. A real Paris concert can then become the pretext for an unconfirmed ‘front row’ headline. The official FHCM calendar tells us when houses show; it does not list G-DRAGON as a guest for the coming women's shows. We have not found a named event announcement to bridge that gap as of September 26.

The genuinely interesting overlap is cultural, not invented attendance: one of K-pop's most recognisable performers filled a Paris stadium in the same month that the city prepares its fashion calendar. If a house later confirms a specific appearance, we will add the exact event and time as a new update, not quietly convert the tour report into a prediction that came true.
